The History of "Radio Oasis"

On the 28th of February 1996 Radio Oasis broadcasted for the first time. It did this on the frequency of 101,2 MHz. This first broadcasting was made possible by using a very modest antenna which in it self was very modest (20 Watt). The local authorities, which consisted of liberal politicians, tried to do anything possible to stop the National Socialists from broadcasting on the 28th of February 1996. The 28th of February 1996 was, at the same time, the day where there had to be broadcasted so that it was possible to maintain the license for broadcasting.

The harassment meant great difficulties in obtaining the license to put up the radio tower. With all of this happening at the same time, we had to broadcast from one of the trees, that fortunately, is on our own ground.

The radio studio is located in our house, about 20 kilometres south of Copenhagen on Hundige Strandvej, which is 250 square meters big. Our house also happens to be the place from where we are still broadcasting.

In the history of the Danish local radios, Radio Oasis is by far the most controversial. The local authorities denied us the broadcasting license and there for our license was to be issued to us by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. After six months the leaders of Radio Oasis decided to read aloud from the book of Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, while broadcasting. The reading aloud of this "dangerous" book, and especially the chapters which are about Adolf Hitlers points of views on the Jews, are in fact violating the Danish race act. Now the local authorities tried their best to stop the Radio Oasis but the fact that it possible to lend the book, for free, in every public library. The Danish state radio itself broadcasted chapters from the book and this happened before the case against Radio Oasis. All of this suddenly became a question about freedom of speech in Denmark. With these arguments we therefore appealed the case of Radio Oasis to the special juristic committee of the Ministry of Culture. Here it was decided that we were in the right to broadcast such things even though we were violating the Danish race act. We won, and we had the right to read aloud because it was a part of freedom of speech in Denmark. In this way Danish National Socialists put new limits out in the question of freedom rights.

Our radio signals are being transmitted through the air but are also being sent through a cable-net. The potential mass of listeners doubled, from 100.000 to 200.000, after one year of broadcasting. This happened because of increasing the efficiency of the transmitter from 20 Watts to 160Watts which is the maximum efficiency of local radios in Denmark.

Radio Oasis also had an role to play in the great results in Danish local elections which took place on the 18th of November1997 where we as national socialists for the first time since 1943 were up on the election-board. We got 0,5% of the voters. All 5 mill. Danes aren’t that fortunate that they can listen to our racial conscious radio. But we do know that many people actually drive their cars into the area where the radio is broadcasting, just so that they can listen to it.

The total time of broadcasting per week is 12 hours and they are divided into the following: On Wednesdays it is broadcasting from 21-24 hundred hours and the headlines of this evening is Press-meeting. Articles about all sorts of topics from the last week are discussed live between two hosts and here the National Socialistic solution to the problems are given. These articles and topics are only interrupted by small amounts of music. The music played is typically Danish national songs or classic music. The last hour of the program is typically used for special analytical contributions where journalism is explored.

On Sundays the broadcasting hours are also from 21-24 hundred hours and this is where the youth-editors, Gjallarhornet, are on the air. Here they play the well known racist White Power-music. They also contribute to the program with "light" journalism and short ideological comments. This is what you would call a youth-program with speed and the attitudes all the way through.

Many find the name Radio Oasis an odd name but it is actually very simple. We find ourselves in a one-way Zionist media-dessert and our alternative radio can therefore only be seen as an life-giving oasis in this dessert. To support the many coloured and Marxist wishes about having their own media’s the Danish state has set up a special fund which is located under the Ministry of Culture, where non-commercial radio/TV-stations can seek funds. In the first part of 1998 Radio Oasis sought this special fund for money so that they could keep on broadcasting. And we got 31.200 DKr. This amount is as much as 50% of the Radio Oasis expenses. The state know pays for the National Socialist propaganda.

In September 1998 the Radio Oasis expanded their broadcasting time with 6 hours per week. This time on Fridays from 08.00-14.00 hundred hours so that we know broadcast 12 hours of National Socialist radio each week. In 2001 the Radio Oasis will expanded their broadcasting to few days a week from 06.00-17.00. The money from Minirstry of Culture will be 78.000 DKR. Since the beginning of the Radio Oasis we have broadcasted more than 1.000 episodes.........
